Antalya (Türkiye) is set to welcome Europe’s top archers for the European Grand Prix 1st Leg – Spring Arrows Tournament, scheduled to take place from 20 to 26 April 2026. The event, by World Archery Europe, will mark one of the first major outdoor competitions of the season.

The Grand Prix will bring together elite athletes, emerging talents, and national teams from across the continent, competing in both recurve and compound disciplines. The tournament represents a key opportunity for archers to test their form early in the year and gain valuable international experience.

Hosted in the renowned Turkish sports hub of Antalya, the competition is part of a busy 2026 calendar that includes several major international events in the same venue. Antalya continues to strengthen its reputation as a central location for world-class archery, with multiple high-level tournaments scheduled throughout the year.

The European Grand Prix will also serve as an important stepping stone toward the European Outdoor Championships, which will be held in the same city just a few weeks later, from 18 to 24 May 2026.

According to the official event program, the competition will run over several days of qualification rounds and elimination matches, culminating in the finals that will decide the first European Grand Prix winners of the 2026 season.

With strong participation expected and ideal weather conditions, the Antalya stage promises exciting performances and a high level of competition, confirming once again the growing popularity of archery across Europe
