The 2024 WAE Elective Congress will be held in Essen, Germany, at the eve of the Continental Quota Tournament and the European Outdoor Championships on 4th May 2024.
As outlined in our Constitution and Rules, we inform you that Mr Vladimir Esheev (First Vice President); Mrs Hilda Gibson, Mr Arnoud Strijbis, Mr Darko Uidl and Mr Daniel Pavlov (Board Members) finish their terms.
The following positions are vacant or up for re-election:
- 1st Vice President (1 position)
- Member for a 4 years term (3 positions)
- Member for a 2 years term (1 position)
- DTAC (2 positions: Chairperson and one Member for four years)
- Youth Development Committee (3 positions: Chairperson and one Member for four years, one Member for two years)
- Judges Committee (2 positions: Chairperson and one Member for four years)
- 3D & Field Committee (2 positions: Chairperson and one Member for four years)
- Para Archery Committee (2 positions Chairperson and one Member for four years)

Furthermore, you can submit motions about the WAE Constitution and some modifications of the Rules.
Please, find below a summary of the stated deadlines regarding documents submission and distribution:
- 4 February 2024: motions submitted by MAs to be received by the Secretary General
- 4 March 2024: distribution of the motions by WAE Office to the Member Associations
- 25 March 2024: amendments may be submitted by MAs
- 4 April 2024: deadline for nominations to be received by the Secretary General
- 14 April 2024: distribution of all Congress documents to the Mas
- 24 April 2024: Proxies to be received by the Secretary General
