The 2026 Run Archery European Cup concluded on Sunday, 11 October, in Kąty Wrocławskie, Poland, following a weekend of competition bringing together athletes from across Europe and beyond.
Combining the physical demands of running with the precision and concentration required in archery, Run Archery presents a distinctive competitive challenge. Athletes must balance speed and accuracy throughout each race, making the Sprint and 4K events a test of endurance, consistency and shooting performance.
The event began on Friday, 9 October, with official practice, equipment inspection and the Opening Ceremony. Saturday’s programme featured the Individual Sprint and Mixed Team Sprint events, while Sunday’s competitions included the Individual 4K races and the women’s and men’s Team Sprint events.
Individual Sprint Results
Saturday’s Individual Sprint competitions featured qualification rounds, semifinals and finals across the different age categories.
Sweden’s Linnéa Karlsson topped the Women’s Sprint Final A in 6:39.540, ahead of Germany’s Norma Carus-Weinitz and Sandra Szulc. In the Sprint Men category, Marco Kreische of Germany finished first in 5:17.040, followed by Poland’s Marcin Malyszek and France’s Florian Caqueret.
The leading athletes in each Sprint category were:
- Sprint Women: Linnéa Karlsson (SWE), Norma Carus-Weinitz (GER), Sandra Szulc (GER).
- Sprint U21 Women: Blanka Holczinger (HUN), Borostyán Kovacs-Pataki (HUN), Lucia Pastorino (ITA).
- Sprint 50+ Women: Muriel Mothe (FRA), Sandra Forycki (GER).
- Sprint Men: Marco Kreische (GER), Marcin Malyszek (POL), Florian Caqueret (FRA).
- Sprint U21 Men: Alessio Foglietta (ITA), Kaspar Grauen (EST), Raphaël Paquereau (FRA).
- Sprint 50+ Men: Paul Fournier (FRA), Jaanus Gross (EST), Udo Stark (GER).
Individual 4K Results
Sunday’s Individual 4K competitions continued the action, with athletes competing across the same age categories.
Linnéa Karlsson (SWE) recorded the fastest time in the women’s event, finishing in 22:14.480. Sandra Szulc (GER) and Rebecca Stacey (GBR) completed the top three in the 4K Women category.
In the men’s event, Florian Caqueret (FRA) led the standings with a time of 17:17.140, followed by Olivier Joubert (FRA) and Grzegorz Chwastek (GER) in the 4K Men category.

- 4K Women: Linnéa Karlsson (SWE), Sandra Szulc (GER), Rebecca Stacey (GBR).
- 4K U21 Women: Anica Werner (GER), Liis Kirsch (EST), Vera Gorbulsky (ISR).
- 4K 50+ Women: Muriel Mothe (FRA), Sandra Forycki (GER), Susann Borrack (GER).
- 4K Men: Florian Caqueret (FRA), Olivier Joubert (FRA), Grzegorz Chwastek (GER).
- 4K U21 Men: Raphaël Paquereau (FRA), Kaspar Grauen (EST), Alessio Foglietta (ITA).
- 4K 50+ Men: Paul Fournier (FRA), Udo Stark (GER), Jaanus Gross (EST).
Team Events
Saturday’s Mixed Team Sprint saw the French pairing of Olivier Joubert and Romane Mothe record the fastest time of 4:00.430. Germany’s Marco Kreische and Sandra Szulc followed in second place, with another French pairing, Thomas Mattei and Daphné Suski, third.
On Sunday, France, represented by Zoé Hardy, Romane Mothe and Garance Renard, topped the Team Sprint Women standings in 7:13.940. Germany, represented by Anica Werner, Norma Carus-Weinitz and Sandra Szulc, finished second, followed by another French team comprising Johanne Blanchard, Julie Charlemagne and Daphné Suski.
In Team Sprint Men, Great Britain led the standings with Kabeer Abdulhusein, Samuel Hanley and Alexander Thomas recording 6:24.680. Estonia’s Jaanus Gross, Kaspar Grauen and Ardo Ojamets finished second, followed by the French team of Paul Fournier, Guillaume Escotte and Thomas Mattei.
European Cup Final Rankings
The official European Cup rankings, combining points from the Sprint and 4K events, saw Linnéa Karlsson (SWE) finish first in the Women category with 120 points, ahead of Sandra Szulc (GER) and Norma Carus-Weinitz (GER).
In the Men category, Florian Caqueret (FRA) led the standings with 110 points, followed by Marco Kreische (GER) and Olivier Joubert (FRA), both on 100 points.
The other individual category leaders were Blanka Holczinger (HUN) in U21 Women, Alessio Foglietta (ITA) in U21 Men, Muriel Mothe (FRA) in 50+ Women and Paul Fournier (FRA) in 50+ Men.
The Mixed Teams European Cup ranking placed Germany’s Sandra Szulc and Marco Kreische first, ahead of Great Britain’s Rebecca Stacey and Kabeer Abdulhusein, and Estonia’s Liis Kirsch and Ardo Ojamets.
The competition brought three days of official activities and sporting competition in Kąty Wrocławskie to a close.
