The European Grand Prix Circuit 2017 is over after 2nd leg in Bucharest (ROU).
In the same week of the first stage of 2017 Hyundai Archery World Cup in Shanghai (PRC), let’s see what happened on the Romanian shooting line.
Russia on top
RUSSIA finished 1st in the Final Medal Standings for Nations with 6 medals (3 golds, 1 silver and 2 bronzes), 2nd place for ITALY with 8 medals (most awarded, but not enough) and 3rd position for UKRAINE with 6 medals too.
Again on podium
Michele Nencioni (ITA) again on podium in Compound Men competition with 3rd position, he was 1st in Legnica.
Russian Recurve Men Team is 2nd as in Legnica; also Ukraine, after the 1st place in Legnica, is again on podium (3rd), with the same three archers. In Recurve Women Team, Russia is 3rd while in Legnica was 2nd.
Italy, in Compound Men Team, takes 2nd place (was 1st in Legnica); double for Ukraine in Compound Women Team, 1st place as in Legnica and a double 2nd place also for Italy.
In Compound Mixed Team Italy confirms the 1st place of Legnica.
Para-Archery
Many Para-Archers on the shooting line.
Probably they were training for the first ever European Para-Archery Circuit that will officially start in Olbia (ITA) on June (6 to 12), followed by the 2nd leg in Nove Mesto (CZE) on July.
