The 22nd edition of the European Indoor Archery Championships is underway at the Kolodrum arena in Plovdiv, bringing together over 300 archers from across Europe in senior and under-21 divisions in recurve, compound and barebow competition.
🎯 Recurve Women Qualifying
Italy’s Roberta Di Francesco leads the women’s recurve qualifying round with a combined score of 590 after 60 arrows, narrowly ahead of France’s Lisa Barbelin (589) and Italy’s Loredana Spera (585).
🎯 Recurve Under-21 Men
In the young men’s recurve section, Ignatii Egorov tops the leaderboard with 587 points, followed by Belgium’s Wout Van Dun (584) and Pavel Semenov also on 584.
🎯 Compound Women Standings
The compound women’s qualifying has seen strong shooting from Denmark’s Sofie Louise Dam Marcussen, who set the early pace with a total of 596 points. Italy’s Elisa Roner sits second on 592, while Croatia’s Amanda Mlinaric is third.
🎯 Compound Men Leaders
Compound men’s qualifying is exceptionally tight at the top, with France’s Nicolas Girard and Israel’s Shamai Yamrom tied on 598 points. Italian archer Michea Godano is close behind in third with 597.
🎯 Team Competition — Under 21 Compound Men
In team ranking rounds, the under-21 compound men’s team from AIN 1 leads with 1768 total points, ahead of Türkiye and Italy’s trio.
🎯 Barebow:
In the barebow category, France’s Jerome Souchaud currently leads the senior men’s qualification ranking.
Italy’s Cinzia Noziglia dominated the senior barebow women’s qualification list with a clear lead over her rivals.
🇪🇺 With eliminations set to begin soon across all categories, archers will take their qualifying rankings into head-to-head matchplay this weekend. Full medal matches and team results are still unfolding as the competition continues through 21 February.
