With deep regret, Turkish Archery Federation and LOC must definitely announce the cancellation of the 2023 European Indoor Championships in Samsun.
The great efforts that the LOC made to postpone the Championships were not actually rewarded, since the dramatic situation in Turkey is getting more and more tragic and the Turkish Government has just confirmed the cancellation of all national and international events until March.
All the Member Associations who paid for entry fees and accommodation costs will be fully reimbursed by the LOC according to each invoice on WAREOS. However, please, take note that all those delegation attending the World Cup in Antalya can ask the LOC to keep the paid amount for that event.
If this option is chosen, while approaching the WCup, the LOC will verify whether there are differences between debit and credit between the two events and will reimburse each delegation accordingly or ask for the balance due.
Be sure to inform the LOC/TAF of your preference early.
