Great Britain wins second leg, while Youth Cup 2019 goes to Russia


GREAT BRITAIN is the winner at the 2nd leg of European Youth Cup with 9 medals (4 golds, 3 silvers and 2 bronzes), 2nd place for Russia (with 11 medals) and 3rd place for Italy (10 medals).

Host country Romania is 6th with 3 medals: gold in Recurve Cadet Mixed Team, silver in Compound Junior Men Team and bronze in Compound Junior Women Team.

At the end of this year Circuit, RUSSIA takes the 2019 Cup with 78 points, beating France (64 points) and Italy (54 points). See attached complete rankings.

A new European and World Record was set by Estonia in Compound Junior Mixed Team by Lisell and Robin JAATMA, at the end of qualifications: 1395 points; then finishing second in the final, defeated by Russia (150-154).

On 17-18 August next WAE event: Para-Archery European Cup Finals in Wiesbaden (GER).
