Turkey wins the medal standings at the European Championships in Rome


The European Para-Archery Championships have concluded in Rome.

The wonderful venue of the finals was a great stimulus for the Turkish team. 7 gold medals won at the expense of their opponents and first place in the medal standigs for nations. Excellent result for CÜRE Oznur who won the gold medal in all three competitions, individual team and mixed team.



Second place in the medal standigs for the Czech Republic. With only 4 medals, but 3 of precious metal, it ranks immediately behind the Turkish battleship. Shower of silver for the hosts. Of the 13 finals played only 3 gold medals won. Despite the 13 medals overall, only third place was achieved for Italy.

The next European Para-Archery event, the last before the Paris Games, will be the WRE in Nove Mesto from 22 to 30 June.
