Winners Crowned as Nove Mesto 2026 Comes to a Close

The Nove Mesto 2026 Hyundai World Archery Para Series concluded on Saturday in Nové Město, Czechia, bringing six days of high-level international para archery competition to a successful close.

Team and mixed team events provided some of the week’s most memorable moments, with India enjoying exceptional success across the Para Recurve and Para Compound divisions. Great Britain claimed both Para Compound Doubles titles, while host nation Czechia celebrated multiple gold medals in the W1 categories in front of a home crowd. Italy also finished the competition strongly, adding two individual titles on the final day.

The final day saw individual titles decided across the W1, Para Recurve, Para Compound and Visual Impaired categories, as athletes competed for the last gold medals of the tournament.

Italy claimed two individual titles through Stefano Travisani in Para Recurve Men and Christian Seneca in Para Compound Men, while India’s Bhawna secured gold in Para Recurve Women. Great Britain’s Jodie Grinham topped the podium in Para Compound Women, and host nation Czechia celebrated victory through Sarka Pultar Musilová in W1 Women. In W1 Men, Jason Tabansky of the United States took gold, while Cyprus’ Christos Misos was crowned champion in the Visual Impaired 1 division.

Throughout the week, athletes from around the world competed in individual, team and mixed team events, with India, Great Britain, Italy and Czechia among the nations enjoying notable success. Team titles were awarded on Friday before the competition concluded with Saturday’s individual finals.

World Archery Europe thanks the Local Organising Committee, volunteers, officials, partners and participating teams for their contribution to a successful edition of the World Archery Para Series.
