The 2026 European Youth Championships opened today in Rome, Italy, with official practice.
A total of 376 athletes representing 40 countries are taking part in the championships, competing in the recurve and compound divisions at under-18 and under-21 categories, as well as in the barebow under-21 events.
Competition begins on Tuesday, 21 July, with the qualification rounds. Team and mixed team matches will follow on Wednesday, before the individual eliminations on Thursday. Team finals will take place on Friday, with the individual medal matches concluding the championships on Saturday.
