European Games 2023. Here we are!

Here we are! still a few days for the most important Archery European event of 2023.

The opening ceremony of the III European Games Krakow – Małopolska 2023 will take place tomorrow. For 12 days, seven thousand athletes from 48 countries will compete for medals in 29 disciplines in Małopolska, as well as Podkarpacie, Upper and Lower Silesia.




The European Games this year will be marking a turning point in the history of archery. The Kraków-Małopolska 2023 Games will be the first continental competition to assign spots for the Olympic Games in Archer. In the recurve mixed team discipline, the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of the highest placed team will earn one women’s and one men’s quota place for a total of two quota places. And in the recurve individual men and women’s discipline, the Olympic committees of the two highest-placed athletes from different NOCs will each earn one quota place in the relevant gender. It will be up to 124 archers (63 men and 61 women) from 36 different nations to battle it out to win the European title.



The archery competition will start on Friday 23 June with the individual recurve and compound Ranking Rounds, to follow the mixed team eliminatories. On 24 June it will be the turn of the recurve teams with the first medals awarded.on June 25, the first places for Paris 2024 will be awarded with the mixed team recurve finals.from 26 to 29 June the individual clashes will take place which will award the winners of the European Games.
