It is the first time in Poland to host the European Outdoor Archery Championships.
331 competitors from 43 countries will compete in Legnica for the 2018 titles in recurve and compound divisions. There will be 60 medals awarded in individual, team and mixed teams competitions.
Championships will be valid also as Continental Quota Tournament for European Games – Minsk 2019.
On sunday August 26 there will be also the World Archery Europe Elective Congress.
SCHEDULE – On Monday, August 27, official practice and opening ceremony; on Tuesday, August 28, let’s start with Qualification Rounds: morning session for RW and CM and afternoon session for RM and CW, with also first matches of individual eliminations (1/48 RM). On Wednesday 29 morning Individual Eliminations (1/48 and 1/24 for RW, CM and CW) than on afternoon all Team Eliminations (from 1/12 till bronze); on Thursday 30 morning last Individual Eliminations (from 1/16 till 1/2); in the afternoon will take place Mixed team competition (from 1/12 to bronze) and first matches of Quota Tournament. Friday 31 is dedicated to Continental Quota Tournament. Finals will be on Saturday September 1st (compound in the morning and recurve in the afternoon session).
