NewsOn 25 January, during the General Assembly of the Royal Spanish Archery Federation (RFETA), Mr Lorenzo Miret was unanimously confirmed as President of the Spanish Archery Federation for a 4-years-term.

On 31 January during the General Assembly of the Austrian Archery Federation (OBSV), Mrs Trudy Medwed was unanimously confirmed as President for a 4 years term. The assembly elected her by 100% of the votes. Congratulations!
EMAU congratulates the FITA President and EMAU Honorary President, Prof. Dr. Ugur Erdener, on his official nomination as Member of the IOC Medical Commission.

First Vice-President of Turkish Archery Federation, EMAU Council Member, Organiser of several Golden Arrow Grand Prix, World Championships and World Cup Events Kahraman BAGATIR passed away on Sunday 6 December. EMAU send his sincere condolences to his wife, his daughters and his son as well as the entire Turkish Archery Community.
Armenia and Turkey, for the boys, and Denmark and Slovenia, for the girls, won the last qualification places for the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. The competition was held during the European Junior Cup in Reggio Calabria on May the 20th, 2010.
