At the conclusion of the first Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, once again the European archers confirm their usual attendance on the podium.
The Junior Men Rick van den Oever (NED) and Bolot Tsybzhitov (RUS) won respectively the silver and bronze medal. Among the Junior Women the Russian Tatiana Segina (RUS) won the bronze medal. The European archers really succeeded in the mixed team event, where the Italian archer Gloria Filippi won the gold medal match together with Anton Karoukin of Belarus. They beat the Greek Zoi Paraskevopoulou alongside the Slovenian Gregor Rajh, who secured the silver medal. In the bronze medal match triumphed the Singaporean archer Abdud Dayyan Bin Mohamed Jaffar at the side of the European archer Bengunhan Elif Unsal (TUR).
