2 years later Italy is again the winner of the Medal Standings for Nations with 10 medals (6 golds, 2 silvers and 2 bronzes), 2nd place for Denmark (2 golds and 1 bronze) and 3rd place for Poland (2 golds).

Russia wins 11 medals (1 gold, 4 silvers and 6 bronzes) finishing in 4th place and France (the hosted nation), with 8 medals (1 gold, 4 silvers and 3 bronzes), is in 5th place.
